Well, I guess it's been long enough since my last pseudo entry... Last few months have been cool, if in that "nothing bad to put a damper on the boring mellowness of everyday life" kind of way.
I've been to a few SG events since my last real post.
First was the Christmas party, a fun night of two firsts for me... trying absinthe and going to a lesbian bar.
Then there was the get-together for Lotus visiting Vancouver. No firsts that time, though it was the soberest I've danced since high school. At least one person got sloshed off a lot of free drinks, which only made things funnier when they then tried explaining how kidneys work
Then was the Posh and D20 official Vancouver meet-up that ended at The Brickyard. It started up a little late, but was uberfun, especially the whole finally meeting people I'd been gaming online with for two months prior. Only blemish that night was missing the last skytrain to Gateway by 3 minutes, requiring a long walk/wait in the rain for about 45 minutes for the night bus.
Last was the SGBC meet, which was also great. Got to meet a bunch of new people that I wouldn't mind going out with again. BTW, I do apologize for being so laconic... It's just the way I am, both online and irl.
Oh, and if it still needs to be said, people here f'ing rock!
