got back from Oklahoma last night. Oklahoma was just as I imagined it.....junked cars on the front lawn, trashed houses, Okies, etc., etc. Saw my aunt and uncle. If I didn't surf, I'd move to Oklahoma.

well i discovered carpenteria by a trip to santa barbara actually, never camped there. i elected to stay by myself at a small beach motel there and met up with my friends that wanted to meet in SB. I liked it waaay better than santa barbara and it was much quieter...(quiet and peaceful are good). but anyhow, havent been to carpenteria in about a year... no reason to go. but ive been thinking.... i sure could use a break! and the beach sounds nice.
Just got back from the flat track races at Lake Elsinore. It was way too hot....I don't see how people can live out there....what a nightmare. I've only been in Mililani for about a month or so. It's not as good as Kailua, but it's a hell of a lot better than Makiki, which was just about the only other option at the time.

Got back from my trip to Lake Edison...What a great trip. The fishing was so so, but the nothing beats hanging out with 10 friends for a week. It's hard to come back and get into the swing of things. The motorcycle club has a ride tomorrow so time to work on the bike.
