As of this morning, I live alone for only the second time in my whole life. There's not even a cat right now. Last time I lived alone, it was in a cubicle in a warehouse space. I've never lived this alone. There is a silence. I put on the radio. I make a fancy dinner that is followed by tea and ice cream. I don't feel like drinking for the first time in awhile. I go for a walk after dinner. I don't know how long I'll hold out, but it feels good so far.
