Had a busy weekend. Had a block party complete with hot dogs, bonfire, alcohol and drunken neighbors. I was a great time. We closed the street (it's a dead end) and the kids played. It looked like something from a Country Time lemonade commercial, only with alcohol. I watched my oldest daughter ride a two-wheeler, without training wheels, for the first time. It was at that point, at that exact moment that I saw life just a little clearer. It's not as much about the big stresses and burdens that we all have. Life is more about the little triumphs, and appreciating everyone for their differences and little eccentricities and peccadilloes. It is about this gift we all share called life.
