. . . as for me I will take the long road. The short easy road, although much quicker is not as beautiful. The long road in its simple imperfections is the less traveled and yet the most interesting.
The traveling is sometimes the best part of the trip.

Life is insane.
Barely had time to breath with work, wife and kids. I want to live life, not stand on the sidelines.
Life is like a good meal. Sometimes it can be eaten very tidily with a knife and fork, but other times it is a two handed jaw dropping experience that requires a few wet naps afterwards.

It's been a while. I have been visiting, but really to busy to post.
It has changed a ton. I am happy to see some of my favorites post in a row (Ember, Mary, Sash).
I will post a bit more lengthy diatribe later this week.

Thanks for the birthday wish.
I was actually with my 2 1/2 year old son who had to have stomach surgery.
It sucked for a birthday, but he will be fine now. My wife and I are spent.

So it has been a while. During that time I have watched my mother-in-law get worse and worse with cancer and eventually pass about 2 weeks ago. It is really hard. She was like my own mother to me and my wife has been taking it kinda hard.
