It can be a little rough starting something new.
When you first put pen to paper and get ideas out in the open: it's exciting. You know you're onto something, and you know it's going to have impact.
Once you put your plan into motion however: that's when fears and doubts start sneaking their way in. I know that this is a community built on people taking risks, trying new things, and getting out there in a fun, edgy, risky way. It's a big part of why I check the site every day. It's fun to see who's taking their next big risk, and how they feel about it.
I'm currently working on something within my business that I've never done before. It's been done by other speakers, but not by me. I have the experience with the technology, and have been working with the subject matter for almost 2 years, but I still get that sneaky little thought: "What if it's not good enough? What if people don't like it?"
We have to remind ourselves that the main reason we do these things is for us. Not for the rest of the world. Everything is a learning experience and a chance to evolve and grow as a person. So who cares if someone doesn't like what you do? As long as you like it, there will be others who follow. The rest can eat it.
Do what it is you love to do.
