One thing I can honestly say I hate about winter: Ice.
I've been waiting to get surgery on my leg for a little while now, and the one thing the specialist told me was: Do not allow your leg to sustain any form of trauma. Don't bang it off of anything, don't play sports in which it could be hit, do not skateboard until after surgery.
So, naturally, I've been taking care to avoid any kind of harm coming to my already compromised leg.
Today it was wet outside. I saw a massive truck headed my way, so I stepped off of the sidewalk and into a business parking lot to avoid getting splashed. I hit a patch of ice, went airborne and came down on the only part of my body I was supposed to avoid hitting: My already fucked up leg.
So now I'm pissy, sore, medicated and trying to find the humor in all of this. I might have to miss work tomorrow. Which means 2 things: Working on my business, and surfing Suicide Girls.
