A good second blog post? How I found SG
In High School, I was always a little appalled by the conventional sense of what was beautiful and what was ugly. I was stereotyped a LOT due to my long hair, and my skateboarding. I was considered to be a pothead (eve though I didn't smoke), A metalhead, and a punk ass. The truth of it? I was a quiet, business minded, romantic young man.
I never really understood why girls fell all over the big, athletic guys who would treat them like garbage, but I also didn't understand why anyone would want a girl that would change themselves completely if one of these guys asked them to.
I was pretty bothered and confused by all of it. There were very few gals out there I found even mildly attractive. Then one day, I was surfing the internet and came across a picture of Ember, wearing candy undies. I had never seen anything like it, and I didn't know girls like that existed. After learning a little bit more about SG from a friend of mine, I understood what was so attractive about her.
It wasn't just the look (stunning though she is), it was the entire attitude and message. Confidence. The ability to stand true to yourself and be proud of who you are: no matter who looks down on you. I found it sexy and empowering beyond belief.
Here I am today: A motivator, with tattoos, a Mohawk and dating a tattoo'd and confident gal. I owe a lot of my perspective to SG, and I have to thank them, and Ember for catching my attention.
