My goat died
I'm distraught.
After treatment, medicines and syringe feeding him every few hours, he passed away the night before last.
The vet seems to think he became sick and picked up something from the dirty flood waters that ripped through our property back in January. The same flood waters that inundated our whole property, went through our house, sheds and my newly built salon, tore down our fences, and now, killed my goat.
Just another blow to me this year. This year is just bad news for me. I'm still not ready to elaborate on that sad face blog I posted a few weeks ago. But that has something to do with it. Well, alot to do with it really.
When my Natural State set went into Member Review at the end of January, I explained how much it meant to me, and for what reasons. One of those reasons, was that where it was shot, was my special sitting place down in my creek, and that since the set had been shot, the flood had washed that spot away. The set served as memories for me. That set also features my pet goats, and Frankie (the little guy who passed away) is also in it.
So when I shot that set, I had no idea how special it was going to be for me. I originally shot it, just to document my everyday routine for you guys here on SG to see. To show you what I do every day, my relaxation time. And now, that doesn't exist anymore. That spot is gone, my goat is gone, and all of the relaxation and worry free life I had, is gone.
This year is crushing me
