So we had a great European tour, or more precisely, a tour of Germany and Austria, and we hope to come back soon to hit a lot more countries. Seeing old friends, especially our original booking agent Goliad, in Hamburg, was great and reminded us why we still do this. Having the chance to play with amazing bands like Flyswatter was also a highlighttheir new stuff blew us away. If you like your rock heavy and your punk served up with three guitars, you must immediately listen to their latest self-titled album. I think touring Europe is definitely a unique experience, we met great people and saw lots of our friends from past tours. But we also played with bands from all over the worldfrom Brazil, Chile, France, Israel, the U.S., Germany, Austria and Belgium. Bands we played with, like These Arms are Snakes, had just played with a band from Japan the night before we met up with them, and its not uncommon to see flyers for bands from all over. Our booking agent in Berlin works with bands from Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Spain, New Zealand, etc. Its awesome to see a scene developing that doesnt just promote the biggest and most commercial bands and embraces all kinds of music from around the world. I think Europe really is a different kind of punk scene than the States, and Im looking forward to a return trip.
