In September to start off my Spooky Season I went with my best friend and my partner to get Friday the 13th tattoos. I changed which tattoo I was going to get last minute after talking to the artist about how she really wanted to do this tattoo and that it was from a previous flash sheet she never got to do. I have absolutely no regrets and have never been happier with a last minute change in design. My partner got a sandworm from Beetlejuice that matches my ghost polaroid where Lydia realized the Maitlands had "no feet". We both have Beetlejuice related tattoos now. 🖤
I haven't gotten a tattoo in a long time, way too long and it was a very special moment for me with the people I am closest with. We got to the tattoo shop before they opened and waited in line. It was a day trip to a city we don't usually spend a lot of time in, so that day was the first adventure of my Spooky Season. 🔪
Here is a picture of the fresh tattoo from September 13th 👻
Here is the updated photo a little over 3 weeks healed. This adorable gothic arch fits snug next to my Beetlejuice tattoo. Also I promise the tattoo is straight, my leg was just curved on the pillow in the second photo. 😅
Fun fact: I am obssessed with architecture. At one point, I even wanted to be an architect. I love to travel and see the different kinds of architecture. It is absolutely stunning and one of my favorite parts of traveling. ✈️
