a tiring weekend. i did many hours of recon on the west side
searching for areas, neighborhoods that i would like to call home.
i work in santa monica, but it just doesnt appeal to me right now. maybe because its too close to work, too many bums, and spread out. im not sure. venice, culver city. same thing.
but i fell in love with west hollywood and the miracle mile area, not so much beverly hills but just east.
i dont know if this would make my commute worse. but its what i think a major city should be like. change from block to block, tons of places to just walk and shop and people watch and eat and drink....
but my friends all live in santa monica, well work friends that is. i fear i would alienate myself and it would be just like living in long beach from a social aspect.
im torn. and running out of time
