It appears that a mystery person has re-opened my account as a gift I suppose. To that person out there whoever you are, I say that you very much! It brings back memories the way reading old journal entries and looking at old photographs can. Well, I suppose a lot has happened in the last 2 and a half years or so since we've talked: Moving to Oakland, the birth of my best friends baby, the death of my mother, engagement to my longtime girlfriend, and ordination as a Buddhist monk. Many more things are in the planning stage at the moment, and I feel like things are moving along very quickly; sometimes too quickly. Today however, they aren't moving at all, or at least I'm trying hard not to be moved by them on this rainy Sunday.

I'd love to see you all, my old friends again sometime, and I really hope that you all are doing so so well.

Too long. I fell into a strange 'year' after leaving SG. Then I quit my job, got really, really sick and had to move back to lovely Carmichael, CA. BUT, all is much better now, in fact in many ways better than ever. I am hoping to get back to the Bay Area soon.

Would love to catch up sometime and would love to hear more about your ordination. I am in the bay area every few weeks and as I said, should be back permanently soon.
