I finally bought this
Newbury comics used to be the best CD shop around...I can remember going there before it was a chain store,it was a tiny little shop on Newbury St. in Boston about the size of a big closet.they sold ONLY punk music and Aimee Mann of Til Tuesday was the cash register girl.....as they got a little bigger,it became a great place for people with obscure tastes in music.......but now, IT SUCKS....the one in Warwick RI has pushed all the rap and hip hop shit to the front,the music they play when you go in there is shit,and there were sideways hat wearing,baggy pants sporting homeboys shopping in there(and no thats not a racial comment...these are white guys)...They don't have the obscure stuff anymore......three things I went in there to get and they did not have MONTROSE - LOUDNESS - RACER X....I mean c'mon, are these bands so obscure that they don't have them......I guess there are no more good record shops....May as well go to Best Buy
Anybody see that show "INKED" on A&E the other night,,,,,I've been waiting for it to come on for a couple on months..it sucked......it's a stupid reality show that takes place in a Tattoo shop in Las Vegas..and the tattooists act like some kind of idiot rock stars....so fucking lame!
Gonna try to see Devils Rejects tomorrow morning.....1st showings of the day are best....less wankers in there!
