Anybody have any cool storys about meeting a rock star or actor...lets hear it.
Here's mine:
Me and an old girlfriend that i was dating at the time went to see Billy Idol on the Rebel Yell tour.We got kind of friendly with security during the show,so they let us go backstage.We got to hang out with Billy for quite a while,all of a sudden out of nowhere he says to my girlfriend "show me your tits".Well she looked at me then politly declined because i guess she thought i'd be pissed if she did,actually i think i would have been cool ,but she already told him no.He had a blonde female keyboard player who gave me several winks in the backstage area,but i was with my girlfriend,so i kind of pretended that i didn't see her.
Another time i was at a Joan Jett show in the front row.after the club announced that no picture taking would be allowed,i snapped off 2 rolls of film,and nobody was stopping me.When the show was over,i thought i was in the clear,and as i was walking out,two huge muscle head security guys approached me,and told me that i had to give them my film,i replied "fuck you",and then they said that i could either give it to them or they would follow me outside and kick the shit out of me....i gave them the film....well all of a sudden they apologized to me and told me that they felt bad for having to do that ,but it was thier job.so they said because of all the trouble they gave me,i could go backstage and get an autographed album from the whole band.When i got backstage,i did not get to meet Joan,but they did bring a copy of "I love rock n roll" out of her dressing room signed by all band members personalized to me.
Three members of the Plasmatics attended my 21st birthday,and i ended up being pretty friendly with them for a few years.
Oh yeah...i saw Carrot Top in the Orlando airport....had no desire to approach him....what an ugly motherfucker...but i have to say,the guy is ripped.
