Friday night was a birthday party for a member of the band I've been playing with for the last several months. These guys are usually fun to be around and play music with, but I've been preoccupied with how they don't really play in the direction I'd like to go, personally. Last couple of times, though, were far closer.
It's peculiar how hard it is to steer some evidently creative people out of their musical comfort zone. To me, pushing and shoving at the boundaries is crucial.
Anyway, my point is that I had a lot of fun last night, between how much I liked the music and how enjoyable the rest of the festivities were.
Now, as much as I like riding my shiney new two-wheeled toy, the enthusiasm is definately dampened when you have that ickey hungover feeling and are woken up by some rugrats then have to ride in the cold with a headache.

To a house you've locked yourself out of. Wah-wah-wah.
At least I had a killer lunch while biding my time until the door opened.
Yes, I made a point of sharing that. Draw what conclusions you will.
