Belated happy v-day to ya all, roll on Paddys Day! for the month of Feb i'm taking part in this online project, Radical Self Love and so far its been awesome. I love working on my RSL journal, i will post pictures of it when im done
so first off i didnt get that course i really wanted, i found out about 2 weeks ago but didnt want to write about it cos i was so upset over it. i emailed the guy and asked why and was there any advise he could give me for the future, and he was less than helpful, saying it all went well and that it was close, but no actual reason. i am not a person who takes defeat lightly, if something doesnt go right (and lets face it they rarely do) i like to know why so i can learn from it. it was salt on the gaping wound of rejection.
anyway, this weekend i am going up the the big smoke, Dublin, to see Lady Gaga. Im very excited. people find it strange i am such a fan of hers but i dont know,i think when pop music is at its best it transends borders of genres. to say you like one particular type of music can really box you in- you like stuff other than one type, and you might not nessecarily like everything in one particular type either. i guess thats why real music fans hate the question "What sort of music do you like?"
Finally, today is Pancake Tuesday, im gonna make my batter now, let it stand for an hour and serve them then with lemon and caster sugar- classic! Despite being an atheist (though i have yet to formally defect) i really want this tshirt from Hairy Baby
Lots of love+pancakes baby
