Just got back from District 9...WOW, quite a unique film. Peter Jackson is an amazing director. Of course, EVERYONE and their mother loves the Lord of the Rings saga, but I like all his work, even King Kong. There were a few odd scenes, but the plot was interesting and it has touching moments toward the end...fuckers almost made me cry.

Last night, I had a chance to check out G.I. Joe...a film I've waited for since I bought my first GI Joe toy at the age of 7...meaning I've been waiting 20 years for the film. I must say, per the actual storyline developed in the cartoon, the movie follows it very very well. Some of the acting wasn't up to par, which was my ONLY letdown, in addition to a few scenes that were less than feasible, yet entertaining. The NANOTECHNOLOGY applied to the weaponry used WAS incredible, because I myself have worked on similar projects in the past for Lockheed Martin and Boeing, so that was cool

Overall: 4 out of 5 (most would give it a 2 or 3, but i am a guy, so its getting a 4)

In addition, I just picked up the new Prodigy album "Invaders Must Die" today...some great stuff on it, if you're a fan of the Electronica!
