I am a little nervous today and that is not very normal for me. I have a date tonight, with a very intelligent, funny and independent woman.
I have not been on a "date" in 7 years...
So I am a little nervous.

Feels like highschool all over again. hahaha
We've had several great hour-long conversations over the last couple of weeks and tonight should be fun. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't mess it up. Normally I exude confidence. Just ask Aimee, she can vouch for me. I am a nice guy with a great job, a lot of intelligence and a creative artist to boot. I am a good thing.

the reason that a good percentage of men like women who very dependant and don't have a lot of confidence is that they are really insecure themselves and they don't want to have to put up with intelligence and opinion.
So, I commend you on your choice in strong women, and don't forget to take a smile with you on your date!
Next year, I promise to be more punctual with the felicitations.
