hell yeah. mylf day is on sunday.
Being a mommy rocks. It's a difficult and rewarding life. I do whatever and more than she needs, she grows bigger and better every day. I teach her things. I befriend her. I comfort her. I become more lucky each thing I can do for her. I want her to be confident, healthy, honest, and fearless.
Did I ever talk about my birth story? Don't leave! It wont be detailed and gross! Wow, I can't believe it's been two years!
So I was in labor 41 hours. It didnt suck. I am a big nerd and found great comfort in watching the chart of my contractions. "wow, that was a big one," like I didn't know. The pain was intense but it was cool. At about hour 36, I turned away the anesthesiologist for the last time. I took the epidural and didn't feel at all that I failed giving natural birth cause I didnt want to be too tired to push and I planned on doing that well. Hour 40 was time to push. yup, I am a champion. first time mommies usually take 2-3 hours to push. 45 minutes for me, baby! every time the doctor walked away to talk to the nurse, I made him get back cause I wasn't done. hehe. My daughter had the most perfectly round head because of that. 41 hours is a lond time!
I will never forget the moment she was born. Before this all started, the doctor asked my boy and girl name choices. When she was born, the doctor didn't say it's a girl. He triumphantly said, "It's an Emily." Wow, I loved it! She was so awesome and so tiny. and that's it in a nutshell! I loved her from the second I saw her.
So I guess the best thing I could do here is talk about why it's so great to be her mommy. Top ten:
10, Em can high five and baby five.
9, She says, "OWNED" and laughs at you.
8, Her smile lights up my heart when I pick her up after work.
7, She thinks my beautymarks are boo boos and kisses them.
6, She says "please, mom" and "thank you, mom" soooo adorably.
5, Her eyebrows move when she drinks from a straw
4, She makes the best dinosaur faces and noises.
3, When she's thinking, you could almost see her learning.
2, Best. cuddler. ever.
1, She makes me the luckiest person in the world.
Sorry for being sappy. I hope your weekend is wonderful. Wish me luck cause I haven't seem my mom in two months and I hope that we can be friends again. I still will never believe what she did to me. I hope something works out nicely.
Love,
