In an effort to quell 10 minutes of boredom Im gonna write a journal entry.
Northstar and I are gonna make-out one day
RuneLateralus is causing a law suit for being a fan of Nintendo. I think thats hilarious and I think he does too. He also became an internet celebrity overnight.
Primadonna's Red Sox won the series... I think.. I still haven't had conformation. But hey if they really did like I overheard today then thats awesome for them and Prim, now shes gotta make her way down here and hang out ... as per our bet. Although we were both routing for the Red Sox in that way.
So thats all the news of last night. Very entertaining stuff I guess. My journals are filling up fast which means I update more. Who's happy about that?
That list I made last journal got me thinking that I really do like listing things and ranking things ... like in High Fedility. I've had this constantly changing list of bands that I like so Im gonna share that with you now for your enjoyment. My top five bands.
1. From Autumn to Ashes: These guys touched me at a point in my life when I was really low and really out of everything and it their lyrics just got to me in ways I never thought possible. I got to meet Fran Mark when they played in T.O. and he was quite awesome. They play so well live and their guitar riffs tickle my ears, I think they are inventive, catchy and talented. CDs I've Heard = 3 (Sin, Sorrow, and Sadness/Too Bad You're Beautiful/The Fiction We Live)
2. Atreyu: The only other band whos guitar riffs make me stand up and drop my jaw. I love what they write about and I idolize Alex V cuz he looks awesome and rocks out to the best of his ability. Also when they said FUCK METALLICA and FUCK LED ZEPLIN in Alternative Press magazine they were the first band to say what I was thinking for a long time. I don't have to like Metallica or Led Zeplin cuz they are the roots of what I listen to... They aren't my roots Im only 22 years old I never felt the impact of these guys. To me Metallica are a bunch of old guys making shitty new music and Led Zeplin don't even register on my radar. CDs I've Heard = 2 (Suicide Notes & Butterfly Kisses/The Curse)
3. Poison The Well: If you're seeing a trend right now that I like Hardcore then you are correct. To me Poison The Well are like Veterans of the Hardcore scene, yet they keep comming back and slightly re-inventing themselves enough to stay fresh but not go too far off what brought them to the table. The amount of good material I've heard of theirs and the three times I've seen them live they've blown me away. CDs I've heard = 4 (Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder/The Opposite of December/Tear From The Red/You come Before You
4. Taking Back Sunday: One of the most fun, but still emotional and meanigful bands I've heard. I thought they were going to suck with the loss of John Nolan and though Lyrically they've taken a step backwards on their second cd its still catchy, fun, inspiring, and interesting. CDs I've heard =2(Tell All Your Friends/Where You Want To Be
5. Thursday: I know some of my friends here hate them. cough [MEMBER = Rxqueen] cough. But to me there isn't another band that is doing what they are doing to that level. Some are close but Thursday is probably the second most honest band I've ever heard, Some may say Geoff Ridgely can't sing or scream properly but I can't help but sing and scream along to their music and love it with all my heart. CDs I've heard... and every CD they've put out has stayed in my player for a month or 2 after I've picked it up. =4 (Five Stories Falling, Waiting, Full Collapse, War All The Time)
So who do you guys like and if you disagree with me.. well this is just my opinion. I also really like Funeral For A Friend, The Used, Finch, Silverstein and AFI
I hope that the music labels don't sue me for mentioning these bands by name or their CDs. eep.
In other news. Michael Moore is my new hero. In Film and TV class today we watched The Big One and to hear him talk about re-vamping america was hilarious. America should be called The Big One our new slogan should be our citizens love to shoot and they are armed and our national anthem should be we will rock you. I was the only one laughing in class but still. Then he talks to the chairman of Nike and he says that Nike will open a plant in Flint Michigan if Michael Moore can prove that they want to make shoes, and so Mike goes to Flint and gets everyone together and makes a video of them saying why they want to make shoes and that they will work hard. I mean thats just awesome right there to put this guy on the spot about his word. He also brought him a gift ... two tickets to Indonesia so they could visit the Nike plants and the chairman could explain why they are necessary. The chairman never built the plant in Flint and so Mike tried everything he could from challenging him to a foot race or an arm wrestling match. Good stuff Mike... I love you as much as one man can love another man he never met. and If I could be anything like you I would love it. Well I'd be an attractive version of you I guess.
I signed up for a math tutor today. I ROCK!!!
Thats all for now ladies and germs
peace, love and soul
Scattershot.
Music: My Chemical Romance - Its not a fashion Statement, Its a Deathwish
Mood: I was insulted by some friends today, I went to the gym and my muscles hurt, and my mind is kinda sore from all these exams but Im still in one piece and still ready to roll with the punches.

also coming in is an honor system, where players get penalized for making dishonourable kills. if you kill someone at your level or above, you gain status and respect and can eventually gain access to awesome stuff. if you kill someone weaker than you, you lose honor and end up with shitty penalties like having vendors ignore you and being open to cheap shots from your enemies.
also, there's the almighty Game Master asskicking threat from the blizzard admins, but that's usually only handed out to people who harass other players or exploit bugs.
plus, when the game goes to retail everyone has to start over, so you'll be on even footing at the start.
