Even When Empty Studio Update 2.
(so I wrote this once then when I was switching songs on my winamp I hit a link here and it go erased... god fucking dammit)
Whats going down, On Saturday for about 8 hours we were in the studio laying down drums and bass tracks. They were tight. Mike (our drummer) got to use an amazing kit for an extra 40 bucks. He was excited about that. from what I could tell it had a cymbol rack with about 5 cybmols on it.... Mike kept calling them china's so I dunno what that means... not very knowledgable about drum kits. 3 tomes and a floor tome. A giant bass drum and double bass pedals. Steve (bass) was unconfident about his skills... much like I will be on wednesday but he laid down some really good tracks. (hopefully like I will)
being in the studio is a trip. Paul is a really cool guy but I know hes gonna rip me apart on vocal day.. so will jamie.. and likely jamie's friends. (Jamie being the ham that he is invited a bunch of people to the studio session to listen to us record)
Regarding that 4th song, we went with midnight anyway cuz steve didn't feel confident enough about any other songs. We were going to go with a monster of a track called "How can 1st Street Intersect Itself" but it was just not ment to be. Oh well Midnight might reach a different crowd than our really heavy songs. Who knows.
Oh for anyone who wants a copy of this CD, just e-mail me your address and I'll send you a burnt copy of the master CD. Just call it my address 4 CD or something like that.
I guess thats all the news thats fit to print. I wasn't able to get there for guitar tracking as I had an exam (that I failed) and couldn't get a hold of them in time.
and the plan to hook up some friends/aquaintences of mine has failed. I was excited about this but my buddy dave has a girlfriend as of a week ago that he didn't even say. Oh well not surprising as we aren't even that good friends. Its funny... I don't really ever make really close friends.. just aquaintences as I pass through. Even here if I were to leave who knows how many of you would acctually care enough to keep in touch. Maybe a 3rd of my friends list.
My energy was so high on friday I felt on top of the world, now its starting to fade as plans are falling apart. Hopefully I can get it back.
