oh man. The coolest thing happened today. I got up and went for a run... like Im trying to do as much as possible. But carrying a cd player means I can't carry any water or else I'd be too bogged down. Anyway, it was Hella-Hot today and I was getting tired and thirsty and this guy on a bike came by and offered me some of his water. Not only did he let me have some of his water, he let me drink most of his bottle of water. What a nice dude. This is the kinda thing that re-affirms my faith in humanity. Although he was going to say he thought I was stupid for not taking water but then he changed it to say something nicer. What a cool dude.
In band news... we got a drummer!!! we got a drummer!!! but this drummer just happens to be the former singer of the band... acctually to make things even more complicated, I sang in Even When Empty before this guy did. They then got rid of him and got me back. So he was my replacement, and then I was his replacement. So who knows whats gonna happen on Saturday when we start jamming again. Minus a base player though cuz our base player seems to think he can't use his old base guitar anymore and has to get some money together to buy a new one.
First Day of School is dead and gone...
However the name might still be mine to use and most of the people in Even When Empty like First Day of School as a band name.
Work was pretty awesome last night. The manager bought us all pizza for no reason except that she was only in charge for this week until the regular manager got back. So she bought us all pizza... that was cool. And that girl that I had mentioned earlier, the married one that I thought was really cute and nice and all that seems to be acting a little funny around everyone these days. Oh well theres this girl from my high school that works there now, but she works days and I work nights... I wonder if she remembers me.. and how I can get her attention.
HAH!!! I had this crazy dream last night that I was descended from Norsemen. I think I've seen the 13th warrior a little too much. Then I dreamt that Sadam Heussein was invading my house and using all my things and I wanted him out... but not the sadam in Iraq. It was the one you see on Saturday Night Live. The pathetic trying to be cool but is ultimatley a unknowing geek played by Haratio Sanz. Then some friends of mine saved me... including that girl from high school that I just mentioned.
I think thats all the cool news for today.
