Still feel like the floor of a taxi cab, so I'm taking the day to sit on my rather large back-side play Quidditch World Cup, listen to soundtrack music, read comic books and sit out in the sun.
I think my "illness" may be stress related. My body seems to like to completely shut-down whenever I've been over taxing it. There's just a wee much going on at work, and I don't think I'm getting the time to mentally process it.
It's supposed to be a beautiful day, with the mercury going up to 23C -- that's 74F or so, and I'll be damned if I'm going to sit inside an office, feeling like poop, when I could be doing it on my deck.
Did I ever mention I have a deck? Yeah, it's a this little 100 sq. ft. number. Not that big, but big enough to stretch out on and enjoy a nice spring day.
I love my home. Don't nearly get to spend enough time in or around it. Spending most of the week in a converted closet with no windows and zero ventilation makes coming home all the sweeter every night.
We used to live in a dreadful two bedroom that received sun only when the building across the way reflected the light in. It was dark. dingy and smelled of cat urine and cigarette smoke. I lived in that apartment for six years before we bought the house. Amazing what we get used to, huh? I mean, I thought my apartment was the Virgin's tit until I bought the house.
It's nice to have know that every month as my mortgage comes out it's going into this place and not a landlord's Escalade. It's nice to know that when we get sick of the wall colours, we can change them on a whim. It's really nice to have three bathrooms. And it's really nice to wake up every morning with someone I love in a place that I love.
I wanted a home that felt like home, I wanted someone to share it with; I got that, now onto not waking up on weekdays feeling like I'd rather be anally probed with a spiked truncheon than go into the office.
So, where do you live? What are your living conditions? What makes you happy? Wanna come and visit? We got a spare room.

Who were you hiding from you silly little girl?

Awww that is realy sweet. I wish I could feel that positive about being in a relationship or feeling that positive about relationships at all. Judging by my history with men I have a feeling that I am not meant to be in a serious relationship. My Dragon profile even says that the dragon woman will marry several times in her lifetime---whiuch I could sadly see being completely true.
I live in a three bedroom house with my parents. We used to live in the city but several years ago we moved slightly outside of the city. We even have woods in the backyard!!!
What makes me happy? You mean in general or living about where I do? I'll assume the latter so I will say the best thing about living where I do is that it's absolutely free!
Oh and of course I would like to come visit? Will your gf mind???
Sorry my comments kind of sucked on monday but I was home and cleaning and gettting lots done. I had a little bit of time here on SG yesterday but you had a day off!!!
Anyway, I'm feeling less lame now.
Talk to you whenever you get back to work.
