Hai everybody! So I'm going to C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) this year with a coworker or two, but before I go into the details, we'd like a little bit of help from you!
MY COWORKER IS SELLING HER OLD TICKET TO CHICAGO COMIC & ENTERTAINMENT EXPO (C2E2) 2012 SUICIDE GIRLS AND MEMBERS PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME NOW
My coworker was told by a friend that she could make it on Sunday, April 15. She made every sort of plan to attend on that day with her friends, but on that week we're off on Wednesday (my birthday!) and Saturday. Meaning her Sunday ticket is a dud, and unless she can get somebody to buy it off her, she's out what she paid -- there are no refunds. She paid $25.00, and bought a ticket for Saturday so she can go then. Then I bought a ticket just an hour ago so I could get my sister John Barrowman's autograph.
So she isn't screwed out of money, she's looking for somebody to buy the Sunday ticket.
SO. Are any of you, or your friends in the Rockford/Chicago area or even out-of-state, willing to buy a ticket for C2E2 (that is, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) for Sunday, April 15, 2012? It's really on a first come, first serve basis: my sister's letting all her SomethingAwful Goon friends know, my buddies Lawrence, Brian, and Jesse are also letting people know. There is still a chance for you and your friends! ...Lawrence generally spends more time playing World of WarCraft and watching Adventure Time or The Vampire Diaries, Brian is/was lolstoned, and Jesse is busy working or doing stuff with her girlfriend.
I'm going to say pay $20.00 - $25.00 and my coworker will be happy. You'll save money and do a nice thing for a nice person! Who doesn't like saving money and doing nice things. Nice things make you happy, unless they're self-sacrifices you don't feel like making but do anyways, then you probably feel bittersweet and cry yourself to sleep and ignore your friends for five years and yeah.
http://www.c2e2.com/ < ---- Here is the website! Isn't that neat, it has all the cool things you can do there, like go bug famous people to sign pieces of paper or body parts or My Little Pony toys for you for money and buy stuff and look out for Ruby Rocket or other cosplayers you can bug to get pictures and and and and.
Go on, check out the guest lists! John Barrowman will be there! Everybody loves him. So will other people! There'll even be somebody from Mister Rogers Neighborhood! Anne Rice! Wow! Famous people!
The only thing that would make this cooler is if Tabitha St. Germain were there! But she got turned down because her voice is so beautiful it made everybody else jealous. True story.
Send me a message if you're interested in buying the ticket, and we can come up with a place for you to pick the ticket up in Rockford (or if you live in like, Georgia or Montana or some other state I can send it to you). I give you the ticket, you give me the money, I give my coworker her money, we're all happy.
also I posted this in in "books" because comic books are a kind of books! They're books with sequential art in them instead of just words.
