This is a music meme I got from a friend a couple of years ago.
The rules are simple: Hit shuffle on your iPod (or whatever mp3 player or your music library on your computer) then answer each question by hitting next.
I'm using WinAMP, and have been since I was twelve. Just pluggin'. Anyways, I started this meme a lot earlier but decided to watch some Primeval.
Without further interruption, I present to you the music meme I took from my friend David. And even though it says "next year", pretend it applies to this year instead if you deciide to take it. If it makes you feel better, cross out or delete "next year" and replace it with "this year". Sometimes I like to stop the playback when the file is finished, and then shuffle, and hit next.
Q: What does next year have in store for you?
A: Paths on Water, by Yanni. Sounds sort of cool, sort of adventurous... That's good. Much better than "Who Wants to Live Forever", which played for last year.
Q: What does your love life look like next year?
A: Cinematic Suite, by Jason Hayes. So my love life will look like WarCraft III cinematics? I don't know whether to be turned on or horrified.
Unless this means I'll meet the love of my life playing World of WarCraft. Or WarCraft III on Battle.Net. Or maybe playing in that World of WarCraft the Roleplaying Game campaign I signed up for!
I can just imagine it: "You're so cute when you turtle! What's your e-mail?"; "You're so cute when you forget to use crowd control and cause a wipe! Let's chat on Battle.Net sometime!"; "You're so cute when you roll your cyberdice! Check your inbox.".
Q: What do you say when life gets hard?
A: Bruce Lee, by Underworld. When life gets hard, I turn Asian.
Q: Song that reminds you of good times?
A: Symphonies of the Planets, a recording from the Voyager spacecraft. OUTER SPAEC
Q: What do you think when you get up in the morning?
A: Are We Here?, by Orbital. WOW EXISTENTIAL AND DEEP
Q: What song will you dance to at your wedding?
A: Acid Breeze, by Dune. Yeeah.
Q: Song that reminds you of your first kiss?
A: Enjoy the Silence, by Depeche Mode. This is the Richard X Extended Mix. Depeche Mode rules!
Q: Your favorite saying?
A: Video Killed the Radio Star, by the Buggles. wat
Q: Favorite place?
A: Former Self, by :wumpscut:. Somewhere with the boom boom stompy drums?
Q: Most Missed Memory?
A: Transitory, by After Forever. I do miss the year I became an After Forever fan. I was seventeen. But I wasn't as pretty as I am now, so I guess I can move on.
Q: What song describes your best friend?
A: Tokyat Ovun Havasi, by Istanbul Ciftetelli. Well, she is part Middle Eastern.
Q: What song describes your ex?
A: Do You Remember Me, by Jenny, a Dance Dance Revolution song. Of course I remember you, you bright-eyed blonde! You're what got me into smiles and eyes.
Q: Where would you go on a first date?
A: White Flag, by Dido. All right.
Q: Drug of choice?
A: Secrets Long Forgotten, by Russell Brower, Derek Duke, and Glenn Stafford. Ulduar? I've never even been to Ulduar or those instances around it, how would I do it as a drug.
Q: What song describes you?
A: Six Keys to the Onyx Pyramid, by Bal-Sagoth. Instrumental!
Q: What is the thing you like doing most?
A: Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight, by Spinal Tap. Oh, all right.
Q: The song that best describes the president?
A: I Am The Wooden Doors, by Agalloch. eh is cool like Agalloch
Q: Where will you be in 10 years?
A: Funny Break, by Orbital, featuring Naomi Bedford. Sweet.
Q: Your love life right now?
A: Burning Steppes, by Jason Hayes, Tracy W. Bush, Derek Duke, and Glenn Stafford. What.
Q: What is your state of mind like at the moment?
A: Halcyon + On + On, by Orbital. Yeah!
Q: How will you die?
A: Dare Me, a song by Kathy Brown versus Naomi Calling. This is the DJ Chus and David Penn Vocal Mix. Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
...and -just- after this, The Wrath Gate by Russell Brower, Derek Duke, and Glenn Stafford began playing. That's...that's good.
I think I'm like, supposed to tag somebody to fill this out, but tagging sucks because people get excluded and well, most of the time I just fill it out anyways even if I haven't been tagged because all my LJ friends suck and never include me in anything and that hurts my feelings and argle bargle I hate everybody. Just kidding, I love them all.
Except for Sonia. She smells funny. Oh, and Rose and David. They're also totally smelly.
Anyways, now I'm going to go listen to some Enya and post on message boards. Enjoy the meme!
