So this week's update goes something like this...
We drove five hours to Rhode Island on Sunday to go to a wedding.
It was 93 degrees in RI on Sunday.
The church was tiny and had no airconditioning.
The forty minute ceremony was just long enough to convince Dave that it was time to go home.
The groom cried through most of the ceremony.
Dave's stepfather tried to leave with us so he could avoid spending any more time with Dave's grandmother.
There was a ten mile back up in Connecticut.
It took us eight hours to get home.
The week has been better than the weekend. I have recently decided to try to resurrect the aquariums in all my rooms at work. This is a momentous challenge considering that I have never in my life owned a fish. There's a lot more to it than you would expect. So far, so good, though.
