One of our preschoolers needed to come to my office today. I'm not scary, so it's not really a punishment, just a break. While I was talking to me he told me that his mom went on a trip so she couldn't yell at him. I asked him who yelled at him while she was gone. He told me that his dad could yell pretty loud. I asked him why his dad would yell at him. His reply, "Sometimes I use bathroom words." I asked him why he uses bathroom words. He said, "I just do."

yeah - I guess I did mean the yelling - while you provided a snapshot, I guess I focused on the yelling part and that the kid seemed to identify with the yelling as opposed to playing or reading, or something fun...
