Well, it's been three weeks at the new job. Now my director is going on vacation for a week, so I'm on my own. Here's to hoping that it's a nice boring week...

my adopted home is alexandria, va. i was actually born and raised in beaumont, tx. i lived here in va for three years while stationed at andrews afb. i went to los angeles for a year with the air force and now i'm back in dc. i've left the military and i'm working for a government defense contractor out here.

i think of alexandria, va and, more specifically, old town, as my home because i've never been happier in a place in my life. it's almost bordering on manic how happy this place makes me.
