$1100.
Yes, that's right folks. I've just signed a contract til most likely February with someone who I cannot name, but he's supposedly the best friend of Robert Jordan -Living God of Fantasy Novels-, for the total price of $1100. $450 up front. Now, true, this is nothing compared to what Andrew, my boss (Buy Andrew Parkers novels! Esspecially "Eye Of The Gods", which will be released on the West Coast in March of 2004), makes on some of his stupid contracts, but! But, this is the biggest set-time-deal contract that anyone has made with our company.
Needless to say, I'm over joyed. However, I've blown some of that money already. Stupid Toddler-Glitter-Syndrome (I will only explain this if it is requested).
In other news, I bought possibly my favorite fighting game for PS2, "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance", which I've been trying to get since I first rented it from good ol' Blockbuster. Cost me only $19, too. My roommate Jay CAN be useful, I guess (he works for Gamespot in Yonkers, the company which bought out Funcoland).
My Anime package arrived today!!! Unfortunatly one thing was left out, but that doesn't matter, I still cleaned up in the video department. The list of movies I bought is follows:
-Cowboy Bebop: Movie & Metropolis *Killer Deal*
-Neon Genesis: Evangelion (Both Movies, Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion. Gotta love Armageddon bloody-Manga flix)
-Neon Genesis: Evangelion episodes 9:11, by FAR the best ones in the series
-Crying Freeman vol. 1 "Portrait of a Killer"
(:
ies:: God, I haven't been able to find this in such a long time. The most EROTIC, beautiful Manga about a trained assassin. I thought it was out of print. Had to buy it.)
-Street Fighter: Alpha (For Jay's birthday, it's in a month but whatever. Only had the VHS and it was only $9, so it was worth it. All the others were DVD)
All this came out to just about as much as Kayla's corset. Which, by the way, I still need the measurements for; All 500 of them.
Alright, kids. Back to work for me so I can earn this $1100!
