Those three words (in that order) are on my on the upper right side of my back right now. I ended up getting my tattoo on Friday and it ended up not hurting that bad at all. It was more irritating than anything else, except when he had to draw on or near my bone... then that hurt like fuck.

Those cool kids out there would recognize those words as the title of the first song on 'the Downward Spiral' CD my favorite CD from Nine Inch Nails and one of my three favorite CD's period. Both the song (I pretty much consider my theme song in a lot of ways) and the band mean so much to me, and are part of what I've called the 'Trinity' of tattoos that will soon go on other parts of my back. Nine Inch Nails, along with Marilyn Manson and Tool, make up this trinity, as they are the three bands who's music has affected me the most in far too many ways to get into.

I already have every intention on getting my second tattoo next month (I'm fucking hooked already) and it's going to be a lyric from one of my favorite MM songs off of my favorite MM album...

'The Boy that you loved...
Is the Man that you fear...'
