After writing all day, I took a drive northwest of Downtown Los Angeles and east of Hollywood to the hilly neighborhood of Silver Lake. I spent a bit of time at Silver Lake Wine looking for a couple of bottles of wine to enjoy this evening. After browsing the crowded wine store full of hipsters, I decided to purchase a 'Medici Ermete Lambrusco "Concerto" 2009 Italy' and a 'Para Silverlake Red Wine Monterey County 2008 California'. These two wines should hit the spot as I continue to write into the early morning hours.
This might make people laugh, but I'm beginning to believe that the Twins are the best team in baseball, not withstanding the Yanks and Rays. They never seem to lose.
If I was still gambling, I'd place a small wager on the Twins to win ir all.
