Rakkasah....one of the biggest belly dance festivals in the US is happening next weekend. Lotus (including: myself, Sweetpeas, Jasmine, Bliss, Tigerlily) will be peforming Saturday night at 10pm.
I'm kind of nervous about this particular show...something that I haven't felt in a while. I'm trying to tell myself that everything will pull together this week...and I hope that's true...
Doggie Update: Ziggy is still doing great, we've dropped down to only 1 medication (ointment) in each eye 1x a day....so much easier than when he had the glaucoma and uveitis where there was 5+ medication that had to be given, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x and day....he's in much better spirits now too. I don't think he's really in pain anymore like he was, so we're both happy about that. One thing I am glad about is that when he was a puppy I was with someone who had a 80 acre ranch in Sonoma Co. so the dogs (all together we had three & with guests, sometimes more) could just run all they wanted and chase the 4-wheeler and everything. They had such a great time, and I'm glad I was able to do that for him when he was a pup and could still see. Now he's just a sweet, old lazy blind dog, but I love him just the same....

It was wonderful meeting you last Sunday. You gals put on a wonderful performance. The show was better than I expected. Glad to hear ziggy's down to one med & doing better.
