I know I'm a little late, but this week's homework from @missy, @rambo and @charmaine seems pretty popular. I guess people like to bitch. @lietome tagged me to do this so here goes...
My first pet peeve is actually people who bitch and complain all the time. I, like everyone else, can use a good rant now and again, but people who are always negative and always find something to complain about drive me insane. The worst part is these people usually haven't had to deal with too much heartache in their lives so they think their problems are *really* *fucking* *important*! People and animals are abused/neglected/get sick/die every day - please don't complain to me that Starbucks fucked up your white chocolate mocha again...
Next would have to be people who see the world as black and white who think there is a "right" and "wrong" way to live life. I think there are many paths that lead to a happy life and I don't understand when people want everyone to be just like them - how boring! This applies to religious fanatics, health nuts, control freaks and just really closed minded people, etc. Can't we all just get along??
It really bothers me when people think it's ok to make comments about someone's body in public just because they think the person is attractive and therefore wants the attention. It's generally rude and creepy when this happens. I wouldn't walk up to fat janet and tell her she's fat, so why do people (not just men, but women all the time!) feel the need to tell me about my body! Pointing out I'm well endowed like I don't see my own tits every day, commenting on how skinny I am (I'm not skin and bones lol!), telling me it must be cold in here... heaven forbid people discover there's nipples under my shirt! The horror!
A big one for me is passive aggressive people. If you've got something to say, just say it. Otherwise I will get openly aggressive just to draw it out of you.
Lastly, I know this is a common complaint, but dear lord bad drivers! Drivers who aren't paying attention! Drivers on their cell phones! About a year ago I went to pass a lady who was going about 10 under the speed limit and as I was passing I see she's reading a fucking novel!! Really?!?
