I'm currently reading Lovecraft and it is really starting to wreak havoc with my imagination. Things that I have "imagined" while sleeping. (In Lovecraft's stories the poor victim is always sleeping when evil comes a-knocking.)
1) I woke up at 4:30 AM convinced drumming/chanting was going to take place at that time and I was trying to remember what was going to happen when it started. The chanting never did commence.
2) I'm fairly certain my plants were coming alive due to the fact I had not watered them yet. They are now happily watered.
3) I'd rather not look out the window at night lest I see a demon. Usually temptation is too great and I haven't seen a demon.... yet.

Also, I highly recommend Thomas Ligotti, who I've been rereading lately.
