well, yesturday was interesting...
my mother took lacy out to a small town in suffolk for her birthday to go shopping...as they're on their way home, it's raining its ass off...yea, remember those storms passing through VA? we got them. bad.
well, i guess the sun was coming out, because lacy started blowing up my phone to tell me about the rainbow! the fucking rainbow! well, it's raining its ass off, and i just got home from work...luckily i got home right at 4:19, so i was able to pack my bong in time for 420 lol. well, im sitting there, feeling good, it's raining it's ass off, and she wants me to go outside to look at a rainbow....so finally, she talks me into it, so i get off the phone, and poke my head outside and i see the rainbow...well, after i get in she calls me.... to tell me that her and my mom were just in a really bad accident.
they weren't hurt, but it was bad; i don't think i could have gone down the stairs faster if i had fallen. anyways, i make it to the scene of the accident, which luckily was only about 5mins away, tops.
here's what happened:
my mom was driving down a main road that had some side roads coming off of it (Greenwood Drive, if anyone from the area is reading) and since the weather was nasty, she was going 10 under (25). well, the woman pulled into the middle of the intersection, and pulled right in front of my mom. she pulled right through the stop sign, and in front of my mom. so my mom hit her in the side of her car, and fucked her rear door UP. my moms car was worst off; the windsheild cracked, the airbags deployed..when i got there, i could see her engine from the front of the car; the coolant resevior was shattered, the radiator was torn apart....it was bad. so basically, her toyota was totaled. the woman got a court summons for failure to yield. so yea; her insurance is buying my mom a new car. lol
lacy got a little thrown around. she has a really nasty bruise on her leg, and the airbag deployed right in her face. but other than that, both of them are fine. the people in the other car were fine as well; so other than one fucked up car, and a dented car....well, i was just glad no one was hurt. lol
so, anyone else have anything happen to them on 4/20? lol
