Went hiking today out behind the chesapeake Campus of TCC with my friend chris. I took my new camera along to play around with some of the features, and to get use to how to access everything on it. following are the pictures that i took. was quite interesting.


was just messing around; opened the apatuer to check the depth of field range on this thing....



it's actually a pretty cool area to hike around; there's a bridge that goes out through a marsh, and the trail is on a small island in the middle of this large marsh.


unfortunately there isn't marsh everywhere, and you can see this weird orange building...lol

oh this was awesome...we found a tree...wearing sunglasses. we found them EXACTLY like this; we were just walking along, and chris stops...and just points...lol


chris just had to have them, and they fit perfectly over his glasses...



yay for the tree with mushrooms all over it! if only they were shrooms... :-(


again, chris spotted something weird...a...clown swing set?

yea...it's just...creepy. lol

and finally, we found a port-a-potty with this informative note on it....lol


well...that was all for that adventure; it was late, and overcast, so i couldn't take very many pictures. had my tripod with me, but only used it a few times...it sucks, i just tried to google earth that area to see how much of an island it is....it figures, the one day they use that satellite to take a picture, there's clouds DIRECTLY over that spot.
