Dude, you are way out of line calling ALL South African women "narrow-minded". I, for one, am probably one of the most open-minded people you will ever meet, & proudly South African. Born & bred.
Also, when you moan about there being "no sweet places that play good music", perhaps you should get out more. Have you tried Zeplins in Pretoria? They've got a huge metal dancefloor. We're probably going through this Saturday night (but you'll find us jolling on the EBM dancefloor - NOT the metal one!)
Anyway, enough of the lecture I had a look at your MINDBOMB website & love your work. Dunno why, but I was particularly drawn to the piece called Particle...
I studied graphic design at Natal Tech for 2 years after school (it's now called the Durban University of Technology), before dropping out, working for a year to save up some bux, then moving over to London for 2 years. I am still in the ad industry, but now more on the marketing & research side of things. I do miss the creativity of design, though.
Speaking of which, I see you guys do rotating / static banners. I am going to be needing one done pretty soon - for the launch of my new company: Edge Models (a sideline that I am hoping is going to be my ticket out of this godforsaken media rat race). Whereabouts in Jozi is your studio based? I would like to come & see you guys re: a quote, if possible?
