So. I am the guest speaker at my Company's fundraiser this year. I also made up the theme of fairy tales. It means that on the 27th when we do our kick off for the United Way we will be dressing up as fairly tale characters. I convinced people to dress up as the 7 dwarfs, and the wicked witch, and even the evil mirror. I am Snow White. I am, as we speak, making my Snow White costume and all the dwarfs hats. What was I thinking. I am also making the evil mirror costume. The hats and the mirror, no problem. The problem is I have NEVER sewn an article of clothing in my life. I can do hats, curtains, pillows, anything normal but this is my first attempt to make something elaborate and since I have to get up and speak in front of the company I better pull it off well. So far I am very proud of myself. I am doing a skirt and a top instead of a dress cause that would be WAY too much for me. The skirt is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. I LOVE it!!!! The top, well we shall see. I have most of it done but I sill have to due the collar and the puffy sleeves from different material. I will be sure to post pics. I am re dying my hair black on Sunday night because to truly be Snow you must have black hair, and I have my red ribbon, and my bright red lip stick. I really hope I can pull this off!!!
