Well here I am.
Procrastinating. Right now, I'd normally be in the shower, daydreaming about some place tropical, lounging poolside but overlooking the ocean (as you do.... have you ever noticed that? How every pool seems to overlook the ocean. I guess we as humans, like varitey and options. hahah) and yawning away while I shave my legs. Today, I'm lagging so much that I think I'm about to have to call work and tell them I'll be late. It's ok though, its such a rare occurance that when I do call in late, normally I just get laughed off and told to come in when I can. Nice. Anyway, tonight we've got practice again, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've been talking to people and mentally going over my form, and realized that it's all wrong. My ribs and my shoulders have been aching from the all contact practices lately, and I finally realized that I need to throw my hips into it, instead of just charging with shoulders. Ahhh.. finally- my Italian hips are going to come in handy. Whoot. Crap.. I should run, but first I have to say thank you again to everyone who's commented on my first set. I can't tell you how amazed I am to see how many people have left comments. I knew I wasn't going to be the girl to come out the gate with 5000 comments and what not, but I was hoping that at least some folks would be into it... and low and be hold... they were. It's amazing to think that no matter how bad-ass you are in real life, when your fun parts are on display for the world to see, your reduced to a bundle of nerves and humble pie. hahahah ahhhh life. Funny little bastard eh? Ok.. more tangents this weekend. I feel a really good one coming on. Till then... HIPS. Lead with your hips! argh.

Hips are very important in contact sports. when I was in martial arts moving my hips had a great impact on striking and kicking Also, in brazilian jiu jitsu the hips are vital. They work as a pivot
