Sounds like I wasn't the only one that started off with a smoking morning, only to have the fires put out by early afternoon... all though I will say the derby meeting went well last night, I signed up for two ( I KNOW 2!) committees.. which surprised even me! I'm officially on the Team Newsletter committee as well as (and if you laugh.. well I won't do shit but laugh with you cause it's pretty funny stuff) but I'm also on the Spirit Committe, thats right.. bring it on fuckers. Rah fucking Rah .... hahah.. I don't mind though, especially since some of that includes encouraging inner-team relations, working with others to set up social events, keeping morale high within the team.. and THAT I can do. I know, shocking huh? You wouldn't have pegged me for the Rah Rah Go Team type huh? But you know, everytime I step out into that rink, or attend another meeting- I'm just so HAPPY... and proud of all the girls that are there and doubley proud of there committment. It feels like we've finally got something here in town, that we can call our own.. it's pretty fucking huge right now. Whew! My skates are supposed to come today, they better damnit- they shipped the right size out over night yesterday.. so for the rest of the day I'll be on the edge of my seat ready to practice a tackle-roll-manuever on any UPS guy that walks into the office.... I know everyone must be getting sick of me babbling about this by now.. but it's just so exciting! And NEW.. and something that's finally creating unity among us, that doesn't involve a bar. So.. settle in little camper, I've got a couple of weeks left before I stop babbling about this... in the meantime, what's new with you guys??
