as i stare in to this photograph of a day that has long come to pass.

i try to place myself there in those shoes. but the harder i try the less insight i recieve.

it's as though it isn't me, staring back blankly through that pic at me.
the sound of the ocean, the warmth of that breeze, are now way to foriegn to me.

in this photograph of me many years in the past, i remeber not living in the moment but rather it's a spceter of someone's past.

it's as though i've read it in a history book, with two dimensions nothing more, a side note of the sickness from the booze the night before.

is life meant to be remembered like a book or can our minds retrace every footprint.

for in this life of far too short of years, it's a waste of a life to quickly breeze through

it's time to open our minds through the ways of our hearts. leave behind these foolish thoughts of wat could be better and cheerish the moment your in.

for when it comes time to hold a loved ones hand as they take there last few breaths. do you with to remember them through photographs.
