Howdy peeps!
Don't worry, we have not disappeared into the outer orbit of Uranus, we were just... away. Now s. has come back from Lithuania, and i am back from Germany. Yeah, bet you didn't know (how could you?), but i went to Koln/Cologne for one day this week. I was there to interview the might power metal band GAMMA RAY.
It was cool, even if a bit rushed, Koln looked like a great city, i could only stroll around it for 90 minutes, before i "had to" head to the Hilton Hotel, in order to be offered a very expensive lunch with the band, and then do the interview.
But i managed to visit the HUGE cathedral:
and i also went on a bridge over the riven Rhyne. So i can say that i'vebeen over this very important river, too. I feel proud of it, Rhyne contributed so much to the evolution of an European trading business, thanks to the fact that boats can flow over i al the year, it never freezes down nor it ever runs dry.
And here's a pic of Kai Hansen & co. relaxing on an hammok. They are godfathers of german power metal, so pay respect. They're still among the best to play that music good and straight.
Well, well, well, now we're back and ready to bite your asses.
Expect more journal entries soon!
ciao!
p.
ps: hey look! Inside the cathedral i saw some of the most ludicrous graves for kings, popes and princes...
look at this GLAM one:
and then this very kitsch one (not sure it can be figured out by the pics, btu this archbishop's final resting place is shaped like a castle, i had never seen anything like this, LOL!)
