Time to update you all on what my last few days have been like. You know, the end of the "busy week" last week, and the beginning of this "semi-busy" week this week. Lots of pics to look at, in case you get bored with the writing and only want to watch pics!
So.
THURSDAY: i indeed went to london, landed at gatwick, got to camden inn hotel at 7.30pm. the sight from my wondow was fantastic, right on the camden lock, the hotel was wonderful. i enjoyed being there. roamed around downtown london for the evening, then went back tot he posh room and slept
sight of the amden lock from my hotel window. amazing!
me acting all professional in my room's work-desk... having my PRET-A-MANGER sandwich. de-li-cious!
FRIDAY: picked by a van at 8.00am. the guy drove me to nottingham. big surprise: there were not "dozens of journalists from all over europe", the only other people in the van were two journalists of the french edition of rock hard. turns out that the preview listen of arch enemy's album was more exclusive than i thought: only 4 magazines in europe and 2 in america were invited. wooo! well, the driver loved nile, hate eternal, and general death metal, he played it LOUD on the an's speakers... but i managed to sleep some time anyway. we got to the studios (wonderful setting), listened to the album (which really rocks, it's really well-produced and the songs have good harmonies in them... along with growling vocals! check out DOOMSDAY MACHINE when it comes out in august!), then did some interviews. and then andy sneap himself (producer of albums of opeth, machine head, and sooooo many classics) drove me tot he train station. and we discussed him playing in fozzy on the way there. i felt... supreme. ehehe. got on the train, got on the plan, and off i was back to milan.
the countryside around the andy sneap studios. please pay a lot of attention to the car's plate. isnt' that the most m6tal thing you've ever seen?
an outtake from the arch enemy photoshoot. hopefully the "good" pics will make it tot he front cover of my magazine, that would be the first cover that i write AND take a pic of! i am not a photographr, after all. LOL
SATURDAY: wakeup at 6.00am, train for rome at 7.00. wonderful walk around town. at night, we went to the EWF wrestling show. comments... well, aj styles vs petey williams was superb, the rest of the show was so-so, there were too many matches, and they didn't last long enough then. not a satisfying buildup. but i saw aj styles. so nothign else matters. BUT i didn't manage to meet him. what a shame. sigh sigh sigh. next time.
finally rome gave us the statues we deserve!
just think that these pics were taken in the parliament square. LOL.
and isn't the first one SG material?
aj performing one of his trademark dropkicks on petey williams.
SUNDAY: wakeup in rome, i walked to the vatican city to check out the cathedral, but this new EVIL pope is drawing huge masses, the square was so full, we decided to quit and go visit castel sant'angelo instead, and then stroll around the ancient streets of rome til the time for the train back to milan. i think we walked like 3-4 miles on sunday. oh, and i tried for the first time the new MAGNUM - SOUND ice-cream. delicious coconut!!!!!!!
a very crowded piazza san pietro, vatican city. it didn't use to be like this, before the pope died. it looks like that death brought many pilgrims to rome, even now.
the wonderful, wonderful castel sant'angelo. ancient romans knew how to build something beautiful.
TUESDAY: marylin manson live here in milan. he played a very good show, much better than in 2003, he was really into it. he basically played the greatest hits songs, but the whole thing was pulled off very well.
keyboard as an hanging swing on an hanging place. what a hot idea!
ok. now my next big thing is the gods of metal fest at the weekend. the sunday-day is also co.-sponsered by suicidegirls, so i should be able to grab some sickers and grab some sg pics for me to show off. ahaha.
have fun, each one of you.

ps: not all my weeks are this interesting, really. it's just a busy period. in 2 weeks' time, i'll be here complaining cause i am bored and i have to study.
