Summary:
1 - SG Italy Meeting!
2 - Lacuna Coil in concert - with pics!
3 - The smell of death
So:
As the owner of the SG Italy group, finally i managed to organize a meeting! If anyone from abroad reads this and wants to come (and well, in just two days, we've gathered like 10 sgs and 10 members, ihihi!), the basics are: friday November 10th - MILANO. that's all. LOL. eating, drinking, and watching the live performance of the opening of the new season of the rocky horror show. if you want more info, drop me a line. or, well. just wait for the pics after the event!
Then:
i went to see Lacuna Coil yesterday night. they played a very good show, the best i've seen of them so far, with a very good setlist and great stage presence. and finally cristina is wearing some more feminine clothes onstage
and FINALLY! you can look up cristina's skirt!
(too bad she's wearing trousers UNDER the skirt! LOL)
and then:
on monday i was on duty on the ambulance, and i had my first death of the year. i thought i'd win all my hands against god in 2006 while on duty (unluckily off-duty i lost a big big poker ), it's a great track record to avoid all deaths until late september!
well the situation was not horrible, work-wise, it was a heart failure on a 70-yo woman, she was suffering from some disease and her time had come, and i can positively say she didn't suffer at all, from her relative's story, she simply stopped breathing and shortly after, her heart stopped. we tried to resuscitate her, of course, but her heart just didn't want to get back to work.
no emotional involvement there, i see it as part of life and a failed resusciation on an old woman is the "best" kind of death that can happen on the ambulance, i'd say (not sure you know what i mean, but anyway), but what bothers me is that i smelt the smell of her dead breath, and now every now and then, i get smelling flashbacks. it's very bad... i am wearing perfume right now, just to keep my nose occupied.
not need to comment on this (seeing the rest of the post is cheerful), but i just wanted to share it with someone random. that someone is you. i wish you never to smell such a breath. *shivers*
stay gold, everyone of you!
ciao!
