Went to the beach for my 5-day total relax needs. Right now i am writing from work, but tonight i will close for holidays until august 24th - i'll go to hungary for my longer holidays at the Sziget Festival in Budapest (SG Melitta may be my guide to the town, if i manage to get in touch... last year i missed her!).

Piombino and its sea fortress.
Another abandoned fortress, built around 1500 if i'm not wrong.
We visited a nearby iron and copper mine. There was this small train that went deep inside the mountain... it was fascinating. The mine was first dug by Etruscan tribes... around 600 AD!
The last two days were a bit plagued by HIGH waves. It was hard to swim and relax, even if it was fun to try and run away from them.

Nudist Beach
(unfortunately, on the first day of the holiday i got sunburnt on a "textile" beach (ie normal beach), so it was hard to then catch up on the full tan in the following days. I DO have tanlines right now. What a shame, i feel so bad.
Well, i'm off to leave some comments on your lovely journals, i'll then check SG while in Budapest every now and then. Have a fantastic summer, all of you!!!
