Not much is happening at the shop... that's why i am not updating much. But in the next couple of weeks i'll be seeing HIM, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Watertower, The Darkness, all in concert... so I will surely have some nice pics to show you, and mini-reviews, and yadayada.
For now, well, i can tell you that people are just crazy, having a job so in contact with costumers, has shown me how much i dislike people in general... the other day something funny happened: a woman forgot her dog in the shop! LOL. And i didn't even realize it!
She came in, get her watch strap replaced, and then left, and so i went back to the the back of the office, where i was unpacking some crates full of new watches. I heard a soft barking/moaning coming from the shop, but it was so soft, i thought it was coming from outside. Then after a couple of minutes, the woman came back and... "WOOOPS! I forgot my dog!" - and there it was indeed, he quietly walked to the owner, carrying along the leash... LOL.
It was a small quiet dog, i guess. I don't know the name of the race in english, in italian it's "barboncino", here's a pic
The "hard" part of being in the shop daily right now, is that a lot of old-time costumers of the shop are coming to buy watches or replace batteries or the such, and all ask me if my father is on holiday or if he retired, and i have to bring them the very bad news about him. It was ok the first few days, but now it's been three weeks since he died and i have to bring up the subject 3-4 times a day, which is making my mourn very hard and complicated. And of course, it's also hard to be the one to give news about a death, to people who were costumers but also kinda friends of good acquaintances... not nice to ruin their days, some people cried and it's complicated!
Aw, well, life goes on, so this will pass. Let's hope this will be a nice weekend for everyone!

And of course I don't blame Italians I don't blame all Roma fans, it's just a shame when people get dragged down by a small minority of neanderthals
