Oh wow!
Xmas is here!
it may not be a good xmas for me this year (more about this later), but... HEY!!!
I WON A LAPTOP PC!!!
.
.
.
BRANDED BY FERRARI!
vrooooom!!!!! i will surf the web as fast as a motherfucker now!
it's more powerful than my desktop pc (which i'll go on loving anyway!)
and it's very stylish, like any italian (and ferrari specifically) product is
(i look so bad in this pic!)
so now i can pursue my new hobby: download scanned comicbooks from the internet, then turning the laptop by 90 degrees (hence the longer side is vertical, just like in a comicbook) and pushing a button to turn the page. it's LOVELY, and finally i can keep up with comic series that i had to drop cause of budget limitations (like x.men) or cause they had become impossible to find in italy on import (like The Savage Dragon, which i am reading in this pic!)
so, i am a happy puppy.
even if, this xmas is probably going to be one of the worst ever for me (no tragedy, though!). i've always had rather quiet christmases actually, always having lunch wih parents and a few VERY SELECTED relatives (5-6 maximum), and this year instead i'll only see my parents, cause in the past year my grandmother got more and more lazy, and now she doesn't like to leave her (big) house that much, and so my aunt/her daughter will stay home too, to look after her. And we didn't feel like just having one set of uncles for lunch, so we cancelled everything.
and it seems for the best, cause my father is not feeling too well today, with a huge stomachache that was the icing on the cake of my hellish 2-dayer:
friday - day: work all day at my father's shop
friday - night: work all night on the ambulance - have a big party between 8 and midnight, with no emergency calls at all, and then, working hardcore between 12.30 and 7.30 am, gertting just one hour of sleep!
saturday - day: work all day at my father's shop BUT in the afternoon, close the shop down (we have no other assistants!), in order to go to the ER and have my father's stomach checked (it seems ok, just one of those stones you get in your stomach sometimes)
so, now i am ready for my coffin, to rest a bit at xmas.
i wish you a happy day. post me photos of what you got as a present!
ciao!
