Sorry for the lack of updates, i am being rather busy lately. It's not like i'm "all work and no play", but there's usually not much to report after all.
But, well, on saturday, i went to a wedding, someone from my red cross team was getting married and the whole team was there! Hooray!
This is what i look like at a wedding. Ahahah.
This is what the bride looked like (she is part of my team... now she's going to honeymoon and we'll lose her for a month!).
The cool thing was that they set fireworks off after the wedding cake was cut!
I ate like a pig (should i post a scan of the menu? Or you prefer not to drool?), drank like a bastard, and i can say i had a good time.
On sunday, i went to see the corpse bride, and i admit i liked it more than nightmare before christmas. I enjoyed the story more. And the clay girls looked prettier.
Now, i am still busy, but as pasttime, i am playing with Google Earth. So, does anyone else have the program? We should trade coordinates for our homes
Anyway, it took me some time (cause it's not easy to locate smaaal towns in the middle of barren valleys), but i found the aerial shots of the two castles i visited last week. So, look at my previous journey first, then look at what the area looks like here:
FONTANELLATO
(notice the castle is still surrounded by water, in a square square!)
(i parked my camper in the big street you see right at the bottom of the photo)
CASTELLARQUATO
(i had lunch in a cute restaurant at the left of the cirle-shaped street)
Mmm, not sure i should admit it, but i DO get off on finding aerial shots of places i have been to, and following the path i took to get there, and where i parked.
I enjoy travelling, what can i say?
What's the place in the world that you'd love to visit right now?
Ciao!
