We spent the weekend doing nothing but eating and sleeping. Went near Torino, at a friend's house, filled with friends.
So i may as well show you a couple of recipes of mine. Good stuff. try to replicate them at home and then take a pic for me.
COPA DE REYES
what you need:
- a flan (i made mine by myself with milk and choc, but you can simply get it at the supermarket!)
- rum
- amaretti (what's the name in english... mmm. macaroon)
- whipped cream
- chocolate dust
ok, now do this...
Put the flan in a big dish, hopefully hitting the exact centre of it (for good-looks purposes only! LOL)
Smash a macaroon and pour the small crumbs on the top of the flan
Pour some rum over the top of the flan, covering the macaroon and letting it slide off the sides. You don't need TOO MUCH rum. It's just something for the taste, not to get you drunk.
Now, use the whipped cream to make four balls of cream to the sides of the flan, near the edge of the dish.
Pour chocolate dust all over it.
EAT.
It should look something like this:
It's delicious. Isn't it?
Now, another recipe that made my Saturday night even better.
Mmm, ok, i can't give out the secret ingredients for this one
One final shot of fun with food (i told you, all we did was eating, sleeping, cooking, and going out for a wild night of dancing!)
Cooking hazelnuts the real way: by burning them over a fire. Just make a little cut down the middle, use the right pan over a bonfire, and you'll have a loooooot of good stuff to eat.
Playing with fire in a more suggestive shot.
well. i hope i made you all hungry.
p.
ps: damn,i missed Sixxette by 10 seconds on Saturday night. I was parking outside this dancing place in Torino, and i saw her cross the road and jump in the car and speed away! Shiiiit!
